Head of Client Success & Implementation
Location: Remote (US)
Job Type: Full-Time
About Aptly
Aptly is the enterprise platform for delegation of authority and signatory management. We help large organizations replace spreadsheets, shared drives, and manual governance processes with a centralized, auditable, AI-enhanced system. Our customers are public companies and multinational enterprises, where CFOs, general counsel, and compliance leaders depend on governance precision for their compliance posture, operational speed, and financial risk.
About the Role
We are hiring a Head of Client Success & Implementation to own the full client journey, from signed contract to go-live to renewal and growth. This hybrid role brings together implementation leadership, customer success, product validation, and new business, and it is one of the most important seats at Aptly.
Deploying Aptly inside a large enterprise is not a simple SaaS onboarding. It means understanding a client's organizational structure, authority policies, and compliance requirements, then translating all of that into a configured, operational platform. Enterprise governance is never set-and-forget, either: organizations restructure, regulations change, and M&A creates new authority requirements. You will make sure Aptly delivers from day one and keeps growing with each client.
You will work directly with the CEO and a small, distributed team, with a clear path into broader operating leadership.
What You Will Do
- Lead enterprise implementations from kickoff through formal go-live: requirements sessions, authority matrix design, tenant configuration, conversion of existing delegation of authority policies, testing, training, and scenario activation
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, managing expectations, communications, and escalations with professionalism and clarity
- Own adoption, renewals, and expansion across your book of clients, including regular business reviews and early intervention when risk signals emerge
- Translate client needs into clear, testable product requirements and prioritize them with the product team
- Validate new releases in user acceptance testing before they reach clients
- Identify, source, and run new opportunities, including deals with our systems-integrator partners
- Coordinate with engineering on integrations with client HRIS, ERP, identity, and procurement systems
- Build and refine implementation and success playbooks, templates, and AI-assisted workflows so every client goes live faster than the last
- Keep accurate CRM and project records for every active client and opportunity
What You Bring
- 10+ years in implementation, customer success, professional services, or enterprise sales at a B2B SaaS or enterprise software company
- A track record of delivering complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise programs from kickoff through go-live
- Confidence working with senior executives, including CFOs, general counsel, and chief compliance officers, and running workshops that turn written policy into structured configuration
- Ability to operate at both the strategic level (Why does this client need this authority structure?) and the tactical level (Is this data mapping correct?)
- Experience writing structured requirements and test cases (user stories, acceptance criteria) that a developer can build from
- Strong commercial instinct, with comfort leading renewal and expansion conversations and running a deal to close
- Comfort with ambiguity and an entrepreneurial mindset
- Willingness to work AI-first. Prior AI experience is not required; fast learning is
- Familiarity with SOX, internal controls, delegation of authority, or GRC software is a strong plus
- Experience with CRM systems and project management tools
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
Security & Confidentiality
This role has access to client governance data and production environments. It requires a background check and a signed confidentiality and IP assignment agreement, and it carries responsibility for secure data handling and prompt incident reporting.
What We Offer
- Competitive base salary plus uncapped earned pay: a success fee for every client you take live, and commission on new clients and expansion
- Equity participation following an initial six-month review
- A foundational, high-impact role with a growth path into broader operating leadership
- Direct access to Aptly's leadership team and enterprise clients
- Flexible remote work environment
- Budget for professional development, certifications, and industry conferences
- Standard benefits included
