About Aptly
Aptly is the enterprise platform for delegation of authority and signatory management. We help large organizations manage, govern, and audit the authority structures that control who can commit resources, approve expenditures, and sign on behalf of the business. Our platform replaces error-prone manual processes with a real-time, AI-enhanced system trusted by public companies and multinational enterprises.
About the Role
We are looking for a Front End Engineer who cares deeply about building interfaces that make complex enterprise governance feel simple. Our users are CFOs, compliance officers, internal auditors, and operations leaders who need to make high-stakes decisions quickly and confidently. You will work within a small, high-output engineering team alongside product and design to deliver features that matter.
What You Will Do
- Build and maintain front-end features and components using React and TypeScript within our enterprise SaaS platform
- Translate complex governance concepts, including authority hierarchies, approval chains, and threshold matrices, into intuitive, interactive interfaces
- Implement data visualization components that give executives and compliance teams real-time visibility into authority structures across the organization
- Integrate with RESTful and GraphQL APIs to deliver seamless, performant user experiences
- Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility across our application
- Collaborate closely with our design partners and product leadership to iterate rapidly on UX improvements informed by customer feedback
- Contribute to our front-end architecture, component library, and design system
What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience as a front-end engineer working with React and TypeScript
- Experience building complex, data-rich enterprise or B2B web applications
- Strong command of HTML, CSS, and modern front-end tooling (Webpack/Vite, testing frameworks like Jest/Cypress)
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL
- An eye for design quality and a commitment to craft
- Experience with data visualization libraries (D3.js, Recharts, or similar) is a plus
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
What We Offer
- Competitive salary with equity participation
- Flexible remote work environment with a results-oriented culture
- Direct impact on a product used by enterprise decision-makers daily
- Budget for professional development, conferences, and learning
- Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, and 401(k)
