We are in a category we are helping to define, and the market opportunity is enormous: virtually every large organization manages authority delegation manually today, and virtually none of them are satisfied with the result.

About the Role

We are hiring a Sales Development Representative to help us reach the organizations that need Aptly most. This is a foundational role on our Growth team. You will be among the first dedicated outbound resources, which means you will have direct influence on our go-to-market playbook, messaging, and target account strategy.

The right candidate is intellectually curious, comfortable speaking with senior executives (CFOs, General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officers), and motivated by the challenge of opening conversations in a category that many prospects do not yet know exists.

What You Will Do

  • Execute high-volume, multi-channel outbound prospecting (email, phone, LinkedIn, events) to generate qualified pipeline with enterprise accounts
  • Research target accounts and identify key stakeholders, typically in finance, compliance, legal, risk, and operations, who own or influence authority management decisions
  • Develop and refine outreach messaging that articulates the business cost of manual authority management and the value of Aptly's platform
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads against our ideal customer profile, focusing on organizational complexity, regulatory exposure, and governance maturity
  • Book and hand off discovery meetings to Account Executives with well-documented context on the prospect's pain points and organizational structure
  • Maintain meticulous CRM hygiene including activity logging, pipeline tracking, and account intelligence documentation
  • Collaborate with marketing to provide frontline feedback on messaging, content, and campaign effectiveness
  • Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified meetings and pipeline generation

What You Bring

  • 1-3 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales development, demand generation, or a related outbound role
  • Experience (or genuine interest) in selling to enterprise buyers in finance, compliance, legal, or operations functions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort with ambiguity and an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools (Outreach, Apollo, or similar)
  • Strong research and analytical skills with an ability to understand how organizations are structured and where governance pain points exist
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
