About Aptly

Aptly is the enterprise platform for delegation of authority (DoA) and signatory management. We replace the spreadsheets, shared drives, and manual processes that large organizations rely on to govern who can approve what, and we replace them with a real-time, auditable, AI-enhanced system that scales across entities, currencies, and jurisdictions. Our customers include public companies and multinational enterprises in industries where governance failures carry serious financial and regulatory consequences.

We are at an inflection point: a growing client base generating a deep backlog of enhancement requests, an expanding AI capability roadmap, and a market that is only beginning to understand what modern authority management software can do. We need a Product Manager who can bring structure, rigor, and strategic clarity to what we build next.

About the Role

We are hiring a Product Manager to own the Aptly platform roadmap and drive execution across a significant backlog of client-driven enhancements and new capability development. You will be the person who decides, in partnership with leadership, clients, and engineering, what gets built, in what order, and why.

This role carries meaningful AI responsibility. Aptly is actively integrating AI capabilities into the platform, from intelligent authority recommendations and anomaly detection to natural language policy creation and agentic governance workflows. You will need to understand what is possible with modern AI/ML, evaluate what is valuable for enterprise governance use cases, and translate that into product specifications your engineering team can ship.

You will have direct access to enterprise clients, a Professional Services team feeding you real-world implementation patterns, and a Customer Success function surfacing adoption and expansion signals. The inputs are rich and the challenge is synthesis and prioritization.

What You Will Do

  • Own the product roadmap for the Aptly platform, balancing client-driven enhancements, new capability development, AI feature expansion, and technical debt reduction
  • Manage and continuously prioritize a large product backlog, applying structured frameworks to evaluate impact, effort, strategic alignment, and client urgency
  • Conduct deep discovery with enterprise clients and internal stakeholders to understand governance pain points, workflow requirements, and unmet needs, then translate those into well-defined product requirements
  • Define and drive the AI product strategy: identify high-value opportunities to apply AI/ML within authority management workflows, evaluate build-vs-integrate decisions, and work with engineering to scope and ship AI-powered features
  • Partner with engineering to plan sprints, manage dependencies, make scope trade-offs, and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery
  • Collaborate with Professional Services and Implementation teams to incorporate patterns observed across client deployments into platform defaults and configuration options
  • Synthesize feedback from Customer Success, sales, and support into actionable product intelligence
  • Define success metrics for features and capabilities, and use product analytics to measure adoption, engagement, and value realization post-launch
  • Coordinate with outsourced design partners to ensure UX research, wireframing, and visual design work is well-scoped, timely, and aligned with product requirements
  • Communicate product strategy, priorities, and progress to internal stakeholders and clients with clarity and confidence

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise software, with a track record of shipping products that solve complex business problems
  • Demonstrated experience with AI/ML product features, having shipped AI-powered capabilities in an enterprise context with understanding of practical realities of working with LLMs, recommendation systems, or similar technologies
  • Strong understanding of how AI can be applied within enterprise workflows, with the ability to distinguish between AI features that deliver genuine value and those that are not production-ready
  • Experience managing large, complex product backlogs with competing priorities from multiple enterprise clients and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to write clear, thorough product requirements that engineering teams can build from, including user stories, acceptance criteria, technical context, and edge cases
  • Comfort operating in a domain-heavy environment where you will need to learn delegation of authority, signatory management, internal controls, and compliance concepts deeply
  • Experience working with enterprise customers directly: conducting discovery sessions, presenting roadmap, and managing expectations
  • Familiarity with agile development practices and tools (Jira, Linear, or similar)
  • Strong analytical skills with comfort in product analytics and data-informed decision-making
  • Experience managing outsourced design relationships is a plus
  • Familiarity with GRC (governance, risk, compliance), enterprise finance, or internal audit domains is a strong plus
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or technical degree is a plus

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary with equity participation
  • Flexible remote work environment with a results-oriented culture
  • A product with a deep, complex problem space and a growing client base providing constant signal on what to build next
  • Direct access to enterprise clients and Aptly's leadership team
  • Budget for professional development, conferences, and learning
  • Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, and 401(k)
